Maître cylindre double circuit

Bonjour a tous,
Quelqu'un saurait-il si le maître cylindre double circuit des cooper british s'adapte sur nos innos?
Je trouve que les kits de réparation ne sont jamais parfaitement adaptes.

Il faut regarder si le filetage des durites des innocenti s'y adapte sinon il faut faire les durites en cuivre rigides avec un outil spécial .

ça fait 10 ans que j'ai un maitre cylindre d'anglaise sur mon inno et pas de problème j'avais fait toutes les durites neuves lors de la resto. Mais quant j'ouvre le capot sa me titille.

je crois que je vais effectivement en adapter un d'anglaise, quitte a avoir honte, le but c'est quand même de freiner!
N'ayant aucun outil pour refaire ca, je vais le faire faire par un specialiste du frein pour voitures anciennes a Paris (Etients Freres si cela interesse qqun)

I can assure that an original Lockheed kit works perfectly. The problem is the condition of the internal bore, if it have some scratches or spots the rubber seals last very shortly.

That's why I'd rather adapt a brake master cylinder of the british cooper, at least I'm sure to find a new and working one.
Another question: do all inno cooper 1300 have a Brake regulator valve on the rear subframe?

Hello steezo, does it work for sure? can you test it? it's just that it is hard for me to trust the rebuilt kits, I've already tried on cluch master cilynder and receptor without any sucess!

Lcoop we tested it on a bench and it works properly. The difference with an used unit is that the DOT4 within the years literally eat the metal bore, this is a NOS unit that have never worked but I experimented on another NOS unit that the seals will worn quickly when you begin to use it with brake fluid. Literally brake fluid melt the old rubber parts, I found a BLACK brake fluid!

For the reg. valve the code is 21A1774 and you can easily found it on Minispares.

could be interesting. Where did you find this New old Stock? Because I found someone in England who's ready to sell me one also.

It came from a stock a friend of mine picked up in the 90s.
For this reason I also acquired some Lockheed kits, because if the pump was not taken in oiled paper and sealed in the box it will quickly fall when you start to use it due the corrosive brake oil.

20 ans! le maitre cylindre est forcement bouffe, meme avec un kit je retrouverai jamais l'etanchéité nécessaire

It is useless for a old master cylinder, if someone have try to demount knows that the big copper ring is often blocked, and you have to drill it to take off.
In addition it have no circlip or thin washer, so it's only a "divertissement" to know how an internal hydraulic of a GMC159 is.
If someone have rebuilt some motorcycle fork then well know the problem.

This is the original kit (but no circlips in the picture), that saved many master cylinder (if the bore was not pity).

Lcoop, GMC160 is absolutely NOT for innocenti Mini Cooper! It have a diagonal split (same pressure), Innocenti have a front to rear split!

The GMC159 is correct, stay warned of it.
